Thomas' Lab HW(2)

The news I've chosen from BBC is "EU and UN welcome US climate move" ,which is about a national meeting in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

Global warming, as you know, is making the world hotter degree by degree. As a result, there was a solution called "Kyoto Protocol", but it expires in 2012. This leads to the summit in Copenhagen. In the summit, they've discussed, debated, and argued as usual. But there are still two big problems, US and China. Because UN hopes America to offer further concessions to curb carbon emission all the time.
Eventually, they made some big decisions, which includes
1. Limitation of flights,
2. Financial support for mitigration of developing countries, and
3. A carbon trading scheme.

In the end, I think that global warming is the very thing we must adress right away. For you and me, any simple motion may save energy for the earth.
