The Peter Hull's commercial was designed to promote disabled sport, as NIKE claimed.
And the disabled sport, in my imagination, should be some people sitting in the wheelchairs playing basketball or some other kind of sports.
I don't really sure whether the commercial is successful, but I think it truly can inspire the disabled people to fight for their lives and be more confident in their future.
I have to admit that I quite admire Peter Hull, because I was once one of "the disabled". I broke my right lower leg accidentally when playing basketball, when I am first grade in senior high, and I had to walk with crutches for about 5 months. Needless to say, I can't participate in any sport activities; I also had problems in my daily life: commuting, showering, and even sleeping. The fracture restrained not only my body, but also my heart.
That's why I can feel exactly the pain and the endless distress what they felt everyday, and I don't think I can finish a marathon when I need to walk with crutches.
So whether the advert is effective, I think it's a great one, and they sent a great idea and good image to the crowds.
