It’s happened when I was a junior high school student. I didn’t only cheat in exams, but also cheated my parents. I pretended study very hard and both of them thought that I went to library after class. In fact, I just put my bag on the desk or asked others to go to cram school to substitute for me when teacher called. Then, I hung out with my friends. In the beginning, my parents didn’t become suspicious because I still can get good grades by cheating until my cram school’s teacher found I wasn’t in the class actually. They told my parents instantly. At that time, I didn’t know my parents have already known everything. When they asked me where I went after class, I replied “library” as usual. My parents didn’t say anything but he was disappointed with me.
My teacher told me that if I could apologize to my parents for my faults and promise that never do what make them worried again, they will forgive me. I felt guilty, so I gradually estranged that friends and do my best to get good grades on my academic performance.
Did you find out why your parents didn't say anything?
