The most honest thing I have ever done(Nicole)

When I was a little girl, I could not tell the true and fault. Even I had learned in the school; teacher thought by precept and examples. I usually made decision without thinking twice. Speaking of the most honest thing I have ever done, I will recall the time when I was little.
When I was in elementary school, I usually went to cram school on foots. I walked along the street. Suddenly, I found there was a strange item on the street. I picked it up and found it was a bill of 500 dollars. I quickly took the money in to my pocket and then keep going to my destination. However, I could not stay clamed and feel guilty through the class. As far as I am concerned, it was a big fortune. I thought of the consequence that if I really took of the money. If I was the men who disappeared the bill, I would hope I would find the missing money or someone would be good at me and give the money back to me. As a result, I decided to return the money back. After the cram school, I went back to the street and I found an old lady wandered around on the street. Then, I walked to her and asked what happened to her. The old lady answered with anxiety. Originally, she was the owner of the bill. So I gave the money back to her. She was really grateful and said I was an honest girl.
The experience makes me feel happy and I am also proud of myself. I think I really made a right decision. Sometimes, I will think if the same situation occurs again, will I be honest to myself or not. However, I am uncertain to the answer now!!

  1. I suppose the problem is that not money people would stand around looking for $500 (or even realize they had lost it!).
