Tess' HW

I love the issue we had explored for these two weeks. It included many fields, such as history, society, race, etc. I like task two most because of the equipment we used and the subject we searched for. Task five is one of my loves due to its practicality. If task five had not been set, it has been possible that I would never browse the police websites.
I think I had a brand new experience in the class this week. In task two, the way we shared our understanding with classmates made me feel interesting. This kind of discussion made me not so nervous that I could express what I wanted to say. In the other side, I could make myself be more concentrated because the information I got was totally from the earphone. It was also a good chance for listening comprehension. In this task, I searched for Bumiputra status in Malaysia. I found although the government sets many laws to guarantee Malay’s priorities and makes Bumiputra live in an unfair environment, Bumiputra still can win over Malay in many fields. For example, Chinese normally earn much money than Malay. I think the way the government protect Malay was not fair to other races. In fact, the way the government uses tends to cause hostility between races and it is not effective as well.

  1. Great description, but Tess, grammar! "feel interesting"? "has been possible"? :)
