The issue of racism is a delicate sublect for most people.However; is racism stillreally existed in nowadays society?I think the answer is ''Yes!''because racism has been a problem since time immemorial, and triggered hundreds of wars.Those wounds, those scars can not be easily eliminated.In spite of many difficulties in the way, we should not give up. All we have to do is face them, because we are live in the lovely global village.
In the last lab class on tuesday, it was the most interesting and disorderly in this class.That all because of earphones.When 2 minutes talking started, we need to change our topic and message to our unknown classmates.That's so mysterious and funny.What's more; I can hear more than two people conversed through my earphones!
Back to my work in class, I choose the ''White Australian Policy'', because I had heard about this policy ,but I didn't realize it well.Then, I found a clear, distinct explanation in some websites, the results are as follows:White Australia Policy is the policy that intentionally banned nonwhite immigration immigrate to Australia since 1901 to 1973.The policy was dismantled in stages by successive government after the conclusion of World War 2, with the encouragement of first non-Britsh and later non-white immigration.And in 1975 the Australia government passed the Racial Discrimination Act.Besides; my random partners:Travis choose KKK as theme and Katy choose Stephen Lawrence murder as the subject matter.
The class was really fascinating on Tuesday, I truly had a great time:)
