The most impressive topic to me in the last lesson was task2.The project of racism has been concerned from long time ago,and even in this day,the racism still happens all around the world.In the lesson,I got the information about The White Australia Policy by goggle browser.It's a restrictive immigration policy pursued in Australia in the mid-19th century.Because of the shortage of labor,the local brought in Chinese and Kanakas (Pacific Islanders) as labour.By the 1880s,in ordered to protect the working opportunity for the white people,the government legislated the White Australia Policy.Not until the 1950s did the unfair policy be abolished.Although the racism problem is not as serious as before,but it dose still happen in the world.All we have to do is to do our best stopping the racism.After all,men are created equal.I also used the program in the lab discussing with the classmates,it was really an interested experience to me.
