Why is English so indispensable around the world? What is the reason we need to learn English? The reason is we ususally speak English when we communicate with foreigners. And good communication is important when we work, travel and so on. Many things work only we speak English.
Chinese is the language which most people use. So why Chinese is not most indispensable language around the world? One of the reason is English is easier to learn than other languages for many people. Another reason I think is the USA is one of powerful countries all over the world and the globalization make English become the main languege.
By speaking English and the globalization, we can learn and accept many different kinds of cultures. But we also must remember how important our native language and native culture is.
