孟孟(Catherine)'s animal rights homework

It is hard for me to give a absolute answer to such a question:Is it right to do experiment on animals?
It seems that without doing experiment on animals , there will be many products such as shampoo, cleansing oil, shower gel, hand moisturizer......that we can't use because they don't be tested on animals.
However, after reading the text book and seeing so many pictures of died animals, I feel guilty and confused. Do people really have to test products used by us on animals? They are also lives just as same as we people. We test medicine and products on animals just because we think it is dangerious for us to use tnese products and medicine before being tested. Moreover, it is beacuse animals don't have power, intellignce and courage to against people.
This issue reminds me of a movie called Legally Blonde 2. It is a movie about a beautiful lawer who against the US Congress for animals rights. Because one day the lawer realized that a famous cosmetic company does experiments on animals, therefore she decided to contribute her power to protecting animal's right. It is her courage and positive attitude that I really appreciate.
I hope that with the development of the technology, there will be no more experiments on animals in the future.
