Mandy's Animal Rights Homework

I am against for animal experiments. To begin with, all creatures have their own rights to live. We, human beings, don’t have power to make design for them. That is to say, we can not reproduce those animals such as mice just for using them to do some experiments.

In addition, some of those experiments are too cruel to be tolerated. Some of them, for instance drug experiments, have to make those poor animals sick. Then try to cure them with those drugs they produced. Even thought this way may really help those who suffer from the illness, those kinds of experiments are not fair to animals. And this way makes me feel so disgusted. Why should those animals use their lives to save human beings? We can hunt and eat them so as to keep our lives, because all wild animals will do it. And it is natural. On the other hand, when we suffer from some illness that can not be cured, it means that the end of our lives is coming. It is also natural. However, when we use animals to experiment some drug for curing people, we betray nature.

Last but not least, just like the essay from the first site, results from animal experiments maybe not extrapolated to humans accurately. Although we do experiments on animals, we can not get correct result. The experiment may help scientists find their way to produce the drugs, but it is not really produced by human beings, it ca be produced is because of animals’ lives. Put simply, I am not for animal experiments. If scientists keep researching, the efforts will not in vain. I believe that technology in the future can find a better way to solve this difficult problem.
