We had a quite different class last Tuesday. It`s really great to have this way of learning. You can have your own pace and choose the topic you are interested in. I wasn`t used to the British accent at first. But after listening again, I can easily understand what they said. I learned a lot of words about the renting apartment like n/s means non smoking or beg. means at the beginning. These are the words in abbreviation. If you don`t know the word, it`s really hard to guess. I aslo like the carpet one. It`s so humorous and funny. The most difficult to me is filling the blank with preposition. It`s really hard to think up with a proper word to type down.
I like BBC learning English website the best. It`s because that it has a lot of current news and it also writes down vocabulary and phrases in the article. The explanation of vocabulary and phrases can make us understand the article clearly. Listening to it can improve my listening skill. I believe that if I keep doing this regularly, I will be really good at listening.
