Joanna's Animal Rights Homework

Animals have been used to do some experiments generally in recent years. In my opinion, I am against for animal experiences. First, I think it is unethical and cruel to do the experiences on the animals. For example, using the animals to test new medicines and vaccines can cause them to suffer from the permanent injuries. They can not be healthy anymore. Worst of all, they may even die because of the experiments. Second, the animals have the same rights as humanity to survive. People have no rights to determine the animals' lives. They can not sacrifice the animals' lives to do experiments just because they want to live longer. It is really unfair to animals.
Although it is necessary for people to test the medicine's effects more precisely, they still can not overlook the animals' rights. Undeniably, testing on the animals can help people develop more useful treatment to cure some diseases and causes the medical aspect to be progressive. But it is more important for people to think highly of the animals' rights. People should protect animals instead of hurting them. In brief, I think animals do not have to be tested for people. They can live freely and comfortably. It may still have the other way to test the medicines for people. However, it is still a dilemma for scientists whether to use animals to do experiment.

  1. Animals are usually killed painlessly once the experiment has been completed.
