Allen's lab class homework

It must be the first time when I study English by myself in the lab class! However, I don't really adjust the way very well. Because my listening skill is not very well, I tried many times to understand what the characters said in the advertising task. Similarly, sometimes, I can't comprehend teacher's instructions which is almost few. So, when I finish one task and try to enter the next one, I would be confused by the next step that I had to decide by myself. Althought it seems that I have difficulty finishing the task, I think that I have a good time, and if next time we will study in the lab, I will perform tasks better than I used to.

In the lab class, I spend most of the class time on task1 and task2. In task1, I learned many useful idioms from the tasks.(therefore, I like BBC English learning website most.) In task2, I found that I can understand what "the carpet" said, which really encouraged me!

By the way, I really surprised at the result of "Nicolas Sarkozy v.s. Ryanair". I thought that 500,000 is too high for Ryanair to pay. Ms Bruni didn't get the compensation as much as she expected, and she just got 60,000 euros which is lesser than Ryanair willing to pay. Besides, I think it is smart of Ryanair to give a similar 60.000 euros to French charity chosen by President Sarkozy. By these way, Ryanair could rebuild the image.

  1. Working in the lab is not everyone's favorite way to study, although in general students like it. I believe it's quite effective, although again not necessarily for every student. Anyway I'm grateful for your opinions.

Next time, we probably will not focus so much on listening. Perhaps you will prefer that.
